The lack of sleep has been catching up with me. I think I'm experiencing a minor migraine. I have the stupids and feel unmoored. Everything has surreal properties, and my eyesight isn't being interpreted correctly by my brain. Fortunately, today's my day off, and I can afford to have a day of utter stonedness. I sure hope it's gone by tomorrow, though!

The birthday party was a smash. My apartment was a beach, and waves of people came and went while I danced like a sandpiper amongst them. Who was all there? Well, let's see if I can remember, by order of appearance....

It was definitely a strange mix of people. f00 baked me a cake, but something bad happened, and it became very, very concave. He put icing and candles on it, anyhow, but I still haven't tried any. Maybe I'll have some with supper tonight. I did manage to blow all the candles out in one breath, and I say it's because of my gung gee.

Much dancing happened, with all of the dancers in the crowd, and also with SuperBrad. He danced at my last party, too. Siobhan showed up at the party directly after a dance performance at the Hilltop, so she was still in costume. I think the two Sifus really enjoyed the dancing, and seemed quite intrigued by the quadricep strength garnered by floorwork. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if a floorwork regimen were added to the odd kung fu class. Heh heh heh....

I played a game of Twister with Shawn, Justin, and Siobhan. Justin won, which isn't much of a surprise. He's a huge guy, and with one solid lean, he knocked us all down.

And yes, I did get some loot. Longpig, by circuitous way of Elanya, gave me a white and silver headpiece for dance. Kathryn gave me a big, mysterious box covered with safe sex admonitions, a couple of condoms, and information on yeast infections. It's definitely the first time anyone's ever given me a yeast infection for my birthday. Upon opening the box, I discovered--appropriately enough--two cocks! Actually, it was a bowl and a plate decorated with handpainted roosters. Bok bok!

Justin gave me a rude birthday card, and Cherry Poppins showed up at the end of the evening to give me a drag performance. He spent three hours shaving so he could gussy himself up and sing "Happy Birthday" in a Marilyn Monroe-esque way. His boobs were really hard. He used bags of Uncle Ben's rice to stuff his bustier, and those things are sharp! What pokey tits! The scientists and the kung fu guys watched the drag show like it was a train wreck. I'm sure they had quite the tale to tell when they went home....
