I'm in the parking lot, and I really need to have a bath. A wooden bathtub is set up beside the sidewalk. A bunch of overweight men with leering faces are across the street, but I strip off to get into the tub. I need to take this bath. So I get in the tub, and the men meander their way over and start harassing me. I jump out of the tub, sloshing water everywhere. I scream at them to leave, but my voice is muted. I try to scream loudly, but I can only squeak.

The men are really getting in my face, tormenting me and pawing at me. I start to fight with them, but like my screams, my movements are ineffectual. I can't even make a good fist. I just flail limply at them, with my elbows tucked in close to my middle, hands held up like rabbit paws. Although I'm disturbed I cannot fight, I'm more disturbed by the fact I cannot scream. Then I wake up.

It didn't frighten me. But it does make me wonder if I can still scream properly. Unfortunately, screaming isn't one of those things I can practice in the city without freaking a whole lot of people out.

I don't know which religion you follow (if any) but you might think about burning some white sage throughout your house & sleeping area - sometimes we have some negative energy that cannot be released. I find that the smoke helps - but beware - its stinky!

I'm a pretty hardcore skeptic and agnostic, actually. The only thing that white sage smoke does for me is trigger a nasty asthma attack. I have to leave the area whenever there's a smudging ceremony. It always makes me very sick. Maybe I am the negative energy at multicultural events. Heh....

I've kicked plenty of arses in my dreams, but I think the inability to scream has been an occasionally recurring thread.
