1. Makes you want to dance: Just about everything. I love dancing.

27. If you could own one painting from any collection in the world but were not able to sell it, which work of art would you select? Probably something by Hieronymous Bosch depicting heaven and hell.
28. If you were instantly able to play one musical instrument perfectly that you never have played before, what would it be? Castanets.
29. If you could posses one supernatural ability, what would it be? The ability to best phrase things so that other people could understand perfectly and immediately.
30. If you had to choose the most valuable thing you ever learned what would it be? Literacy.
31. If you could have only one piece of furniture in your house, what would it be? A bed.
32. If you could read the private diary of someone you know personally, whose diary would it be? My own.
33. If you could have one person you know as your slave for one month, who would it be? I don't want a slave. But Mokey could be my personal cook!
34. If you could ensure your children never have one experience that you have had, what would it be? Birth. I don't want kids.
35. If you could choose the way you will die, how would you want it to happen? Instantly upon dancing the finale of a stupendous drum solo. What a show topper, hmm?

37. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Be shocked. I don't buy lottery tickets.
38. If you could choose the music at your funeral, what would it be, and who would play it? I don't care what it would be, as long as it was played by a musician who lives at the end of time. I'm immortal, if only in my dreams.
39. If you could take away the vocal cords of any person, who would it be? Gabriel, the intensely-annoying.
40. If you had to describe your idea of the perfect mate, how would you do it? f00.
41. If you had to have a personal friend redecorate your house, who would you pick to do it? I dunno. Maybe Hazel.
42. If you had exactly one year to live, what would you do with your remaining time? Probably whinge and moan.
43. If you had to choose the worst home you've ever lived in, which one was it? It's a toss-up between the slum on Odell Avenue with the fire escape for upstairs running through our hallway, paper-thin walls and fornicating, fighting drunks with bratty children for neighbours, and no insulation, or the 31' fifth-wheeler trailer I lived in with my family for several years.
44. If you had to pick the most difficult question you could be asked, what would it be? I think this is it, oddly enough.
45. If you had to name the best album cover ever, which would it be? Probably the new Gerry Van Wart and Stephen Peacock album, because the cover art features me! Ha!
46. If you had to name the best live musical performance you have ever attended which would you pick? There are a few. Bauhaus, the two classical guitarists I overheard at a café a few years ago, or maybe Tayyar Akdeniz's (sp?) impromptu drum solo at last year's Turkish dance workshop.
47. If you had to constantly carry a weapon of some kind what would it be? My fists and feet. If those don't count, then I'd pick a sword or chainwhip.
48. If you could give one thing to each of your ex lovers, what would it be? I don't have any ex-lovers. But I'd give my closest thing to an ex-lover a good, working conscience.
49. If you had to name the most difficult good-bye you've ever said, what would it be? Probably my grandfather. My last goodbye was awful. I think the last thing I said to him was an awful, homophobic riddle.
50. If you could advise one couple you know to separate, who would it be? They know who they are. No need to say it, here!
51. If you could have prevented one thing from happening between you and a friend, what would it have been? Working in the same office.
52. If you had to pick the worst driver you know, who would win? Oh, this girl named Patti. It was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. I was only in the vehicle with her for about ten minutes, and we almost ran down several pedestrians, almost got sideswiped on the freeway, and she broke just about every traffic law I can think of while driving very, very, very fast.
53. If you were to pick an object to be worshiped by a new religion, what would it be? Are logic and creativity objects?
54. If you could learn the total number of hours you have spent in your life doing one thing, what would it be? Shimmying.
55. If you had to describe yourself as a child in one word, what would it be? Weird.
56. If you could have one person you lost touch with call you up tonight and invite you to dinner, who would you want it to be? Maybe Chris Jones. He was a really good friend of mine for quite a while, and I haven't seen him in about ten years.
57. If you could own a single prop from any film ever made what would you choose? The wardrobe from Cecil B. Demille's Cleopatra.
