Naked Lady Party

I've been cleaning out my closet and chest of drawers, and I've managed to cull three big garbage bags and one big suitcase full of extraneous clothing. Phew! Is anyone interested in doing a clothing swap this weekend? I have lots of gorgeous stuff (vintage hand-tailored silk velvet dresses, leather pants, silk blouses, etc.) that needs a good home. Most (but not all) of the stuff is in small sizes, so if you're a skinny Minnie, this is your chance!

I hope that some larger-sized folks will show, too, because not all of my friends are scrawny, and they'll want some stuff for trading, too! So come one, come all, to my Naked Lady Party. We could even bring some tasty comestibles and make it an even fancier to-do. Interested? Then let me know! I'm thinking Sunday would be best....

Leftover clothing will be donated to charity.

Attention, crafty/arty Fredericton people

Do you have any wares you'd like me to try to sell at the Saint John dance workshop? It's on the Victoria Day weekend, so you still have time to prepare. Things which might sell include:

- dance-related clothing (macramé belts, hip scarves, crop tops, full skirts, etc.)
- jewellery
- spiffy bags (zill-sized or big enough to hold dance shoes, CDs, etc.)
- Middle Eastern dance music/videos
- dance- or Middle East-related artwork (greeting cards, photos, paintings, etc.)

If you have stuff like this, or can make some in time for the show, let me know. I'll need to know how much you want to charge for each item, also, so get pricing.

Now, I'd better get to work making some more hip scarves and the like!
