Tapes Dance Away

I've been missing two of my dance video tapes for a long time, and I can't think, for the life of me, who I lent them to. In any case, the videos are Atéa's Fast Moves and Slow Moves. I've only ever seen the Fast Moves one once, and that was several years ago. If you have 'em, please let me know!

The Dream

I dreamed I was standing in the river with a bunch of people watching a rocket take off. It was a large red rocket, and at first it tipped perilously horizontal to the ground. Then the boosters kicked in, and it turned upwards and began shooting up into the sky very quickly.

The rocket was being attended by four military aircraft, which flew in formation around the rocket. These jet planes looked like Cadillac DeVilles. The Caddy-jets flew around and around the rocket, becoming even more daring with each pass. Then, the inevitable happened. There was a mid-air collision, and all four Caddy-jets and the rocket erupted into balls of flame. The explosion was almost identical to that of the Challenger. However, there were survivors.

All of the pilots drifted down to the river like sheets of paper dropped from a roof. They wafted to and fro, gently to the water. They were all unconscious.

I rushed up to them to see if they were ok. I got to the rocket pilot, first. When I got to him, I realized he was only faking unconsciousness. He leaped up and attacked a little boy who was standing nearby. I rushed over to pull him off, and he slammed me down to the ground in a choke hold. I couldn't get him off me, but someone managed to grapple him away. He stood up, shrugged his shoulders a few times, rolled his head around, and hit someone else.

Then I saw Dmitrii from kung fu. "Hit that asshole," I said.

And he did. He smashed him in the side of the head, and then in the nose, spattering the pilot's face with blood. The evil rocket pilot fell to the ground, and I woke up.
