I Shouldn't Be Awake

I hear the roar of a streetcleaner passing by. Have you ever contemplated what would happen if you got caught in one of those suckers? I once read of a woman and child who did, and I can't help but wonder how it happened. The article made no mention of the victims being deaf, and besides, street cleaners really don't move all that quickly. Perhaps it was a creative murder/suicide.

People jumping in front of subways is a morbid ubiquity, yet few would instead choose a streetcleaner as a means to their ends. Imagine the screams as the scourge scours skin. Still, Streetcleaner Suicide sounds like a great name for a punk band.
