I'm pretty confused as to what instructions she's talking about. Is she a disgruntled former student of mine? Or does she have me confused with someone else? I'm willing to bet she's just another troll. Trolls like me because I can't bear to see the poor things go hungry.

Before going to work this morning, I went for a quick kayak trip with snowy_kathryn. We went up the Nashwaak and saw a beautiful heron sail through the air looking like a feathery ship. I love the way they pull their heads back past their chests. Their bodies really do look like ships' hulls, and their legs trail straight behind them in a wake.

After work, I came home to hang out with f00dave, superbrad, and bloobert (who hasn't been here in months and months). We watched Shaun of the Dead, which is a very entertaining zombie parody. Then again, now that I think about it, what's a zombie movie without a token black character? Ah well! We can't have everything now, can we?

In a little while, I'll be making my way downtown to watch the last free outdoor movie of the season. It's The Birds, which, combined with Shaun of the Dead, I hope will give me some excellent dreamtime tonight. I haven't had a really interesting dream in a long time. That dream where I made out with a horse notwithstanding....
