Finally!

We didn't get home from Moncton until 5:00 AM, and snowy_kathryn had to visit relatives today while f00dave did housework. I slept for a while, but since Kathryn and f00 did not, they are now having a protracted nap while I keep myself (and you!) amused.

My computer files are once again accessible, so this is a perfect opportunity to do a long-delayed photo post. Prepare to look at a sea of unrelated imagery.

Playing With My Balls

Poi time.

Today's task is to learn how to do a behind-the-head butterfly. Covenant is playing, and my helmet is on my head.

Systems are go....

Mission accomplished. I can now do behind-the-head butterflies. I can also now do weave directional changes by turning 180 degrees (thanks for demonstrating it to me last night, John!).

The Dream

I wake up and am hungry, so I go and prepare myself a bowl of cereal. What I pour into my bowl isn't cereal but many thin shards and shapes of metal. There are throwing stars, pendants, and findings in a variety of metals: chrome, silver, copper, anodized aluminum, etcetera. As I pour the milk onto it and begin eating, I briefly wonder how well I'll be able to digest this repast. And won't it hurt coming out the other end?

Then I wake up.
