I'm currently baking
Fresh Apple Coffee Cake for breakfast. I've never made the recipe before, but it looks delicious. I used slivered almonds in my rendition.
I also made spider cookies, or coconut macaroons, or mud pies, or frogs, the other day. These cookies have so many names. They turned out really well. Here's the recipe:
Spider Cookies
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1/2 cup butter
* 2 cups sugar
* 6 tablespoons cocoa
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 cup coconut
* 3 cups quick oats
Directions
Mix, milk, butter, sugar, & cocoa in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add vanilla, coconut, & oats, mix thoroughly and drop from tablespoon onto wax paper or cookie sheets.
Chill until set & enjoy!

Link time.
Dyatlov Pass Accident: In 1959, nine experienced ski hikers went on an expedition. Whether or not you believe the account, it makes for a deliciously creepy story.
All the tenants I interview aren't good enough: Why can't this guy find a tenant? I don't know if this is a troll or a wack-job, but either way, I'm entertained.
His Own Seat: Because trucker dogs need dog houses, too.
Funky Forest: Really bizarre clip from a Japanese movie.
In Case a Rhino Escapes: It's important to drill emergency procedures. This is how to capture a rhino with tennis nets.
Eel Cookies: Cute!
Bloody Plush Toys: I've seen 'em before, but they're cute as heck and worth sharing again (thanks,
tailchaser).
