Sew What

I'm being slowed down by this wretched bout of plague, but I am not being stopped. No sirree! With a week's worth of laundry and dishes out of the way, I am designing another costume. Green, gold, and cream, this time. I love the colours and the fabrics. Now I just need to figure out what I want to do with them.

Here they are, although the colour in the photo does not do them justice at all.



The velvet is a lush green cotton. The brocade is gold with green and navy. And the satin is cream.

I'm thinking of making a top similar to this out of the cream:



And a belt along these lines with ties made from sheer white shot through with gold metallic:



I'm still not sure what I'll do for a skirt or pants, yet. I'm also thinking of a green velvet bolero-style vest.

But first, a nap. Stupid sinus headache is sapping me! Ugh.
