It's confirmed! Bikes beat cars during rush hour: I knew that already, but I've outraced downtown rush hour traffic on numerous occasions. Bikes rule and cars drool. By the way, Margaret Thatcher was quoted as saying, "A man who, beyond the age of 26, finds himself on a bus can count himself as a failure." Boo on her. There are far too many cars on the roads. Public transit, foot power, and bicycles are a good thing.

The handling of the weapons was done masterfully, and at high speed. There wasn't all the pointless weapon attacking other weapon that you often see in fights. Most sword fights in movies are about hitting your sword on your opponent's sword and making lovely clanking sounds. This scene had them going for body shots, and being fended off adeptly. And some of the takes were quite long, too.

I don't have the skill to pull off a scene like that. Maybe I shall, some day.

I spent half the movie anticipating the inevitable Donnie Yen-Jing Wu showdown. But the Donnie Yen-Sammo Hung fight wasn't bad either.

I'm not sure if it's scheduled to be released in North America any time soon though; I got my copy in Hong Kong.
