I still cannot make or edit lengthy posts on LJ, either as myself or as margd_elisabet. I may have to abandon ship.

Is anyone else having similar difficulties?

I'm having the same problem. I read on the LJ maintenance page that Livejournal is experiencing a DDoS attack which is causing problems for various users.

I can't confirm this, but I'm guessing that due to the massive interest in the LJ suspensions by 4chan and the like, Anonymous and the /b/tards are fucking with lj. The good thing, they tend to get bored easily.

We've also been dealing with an increased amount of traffic. In order to ensure LiveJournal's overall availability, we've take a couple of measures to minimize the impact of this traffic. Unfortunately, this has the side effect of preventing some users from posting long entries or comments. We're working on resolving this problem as soon as we can.
