Mmm-mmm, YUM! I just made cookies, and not just any cookies. I made Chili Chocolate Almond Cookies. They're damned tasty.
I've also been spending time chasing the pigeons away, and the pigeons are getting slower and slower to return. I think they're clueing in, which is a definite merrygosorrow.
Now, I must get my butt down to the post office before it closes so I can ship off a bunch of copies of my dance costuming book, and pick up a couple more packages of big envelopes. I have more orders than I have envelopes, at the moment.
I also want to put up a bunch of my posters. New dance classes begin next week. They're on Wednesdays at 6:30 in the Monsignor Boyd Family Centre, right across the street from the SMT terminal. Classes are $60 for six weeks, or $12 per class. The mood is very informal, and we have lots of fun. Let me know if you're interested!
Tomorrow, I'll be modelling for a couple of photographers in a big photo studio across the river. They want me to bring a few of my dance costumes, because they're working on capturing movement. Another girl will also be modelling. Her name is pronounced the same way as Shaolin, but I know that's not how it's spelled. Anyhow, she's a really gorgeous and photogenic girl from the Craft School. I don't really know her, but we'll probably have lots of chance to chat while the photographers are setting up.
forthright and
curtana are also in town, so I hope I get a chance to see them. Hey, guys! If you're out there, let me know! Maybe we can get together sometime this week. I have some books you'll probably want to look through before I exchange them at the Owl's Nest bookstore.
