I'm off to school for a few hours in a little bit, but before I go, here's what's cluttering up my browser tabs:

War Frames: What's on tv in a country at war. There's something surreal about air raid warnings mixing with Hiawatha cartoons.

Breast Baring Popular in 1600s: No surprise to me, perhaps because of my research on 17th-century clothing while I was still in high school. That's when I discovered nipples were perfectly acceptable to show in polite society, and were rouged to match lips. Still, it's a neat story (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] superbrad).

Rabbis spark wig burning rumpus: "Orthodox Jews in New York and Israel have been burning wigs made of Indian human hair after rabbis ruled they may contravene religious law." Good G_d, that would stink!

Lemurs aren't so stupid after all: Oh yeah? I'm sure I'd frag them for sure in a game of deathmatch Quake. Lemur gibs!

Vaseline Vandal Can't Slip Past Police: This sounds like Burt Reynolds' character in Striptease.

Knitted Leper Bandage: If I ever learn to knit (which I may do this summer!), maybe I'll make these.

Sprout-eating apes raise whiffy issue: Pongo pygmaeus is a particularly apt Latin name, hmm?

Kothopalli Prabharara: I almost feel sorry for this 419 scammer. He is working very, very hard to steal money from charities. Oh, the hoops this man is jumping through, all for our entertainment! This is like high-stakes ICQverting (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] f00dave)!

Lastly, take a look at this picture. "Police on motorscooters attempt to pull over an ostrich who escaped from a children's petting zoo, Sunday, May 9, 2004, in Taipei, Taiwan. The ostrich eluded capture."

[Pull over!]
