Laxmi Dhoop!

I went on a brief sojourn with f00dave to find sundry items. We purchased ginger lemon tea, Egyptian liquorice tea, Panda liquorice, Chinese snack crackers, Ready Falooda Mix, Tandoori powder, tamarind and date chutney, and a few curries. Just as we were about to leave the Indian grocery store, I asked f00, "Do we need any Laxmi Dhoop?"

Just the sound of the words was enough to make him snort like a total nerd. "Laxmi Dhoop!"

Well, we didn't purchase any, but next time, I just might. Dhoop, in case you didn't know, is a type of Indian incense. It's bound to smell much better than Jeera Sip.

I recommend a box of Chandan Dhoop. Each box comes with a photo insert, rather like a trading card, of the Mysore incense inspector (I forget the gentleman's official title).
