Weights, Tassels, and Toilets

I really didn't feel like going to the gym today, but I did. And I also upped two more of my weights, despite my lacklustre showing. I also did a bunch of pushups, because that's one of the exercises I suck at the most. When I studied karate, I used to do all my pushups on my knuckles. We don't do those in kung fu, so my knuckles have gotten soft again. From now on, all pushups will be on my knuckles again. There.

After the gym, I went for a mosey up the hill with snowy_kathryn, because I needed to purchase yarn for tomorrow's tassel-making workshop. If you'd like to learn how to make basic tassels, get your butt down to the Casemates for 2:00. I'll be teaching the workshop, and it'll only cost you $6. I'm supplying all the materials.

If the weather is nice, I'll be dancing at work, too. Wanna dance with me? Then tie on a hip scarf and join me.

Tomorrow, I'll also be meeting minstrel70. He's on vacation with his ex, and is passing through Fredericton. It will be nice to put a face to another online acquaintance.

Not on my knuckles for a while, but yes, I'll be doing it again. Ideally, only on the knuckles of my index and middle fingers. That is the striking surface for punches.

Real hardcore people do their knuckle pushups on boards with raw rice glued to it. I'm neither tough nor masochistic enough for that.
