Won't you please buy our Magic cards? We'll use the money to do great things, like pay tuition and rent, and buy groceries. And maybe we'll even have enough left over to use the coin-operated washing machines for our laundry!

The Magic cards are going cheap. $1 for four Vesuvan Doppelgangers? My heart could stop. They're worth about $100, if I remember correctly.

That was kinda funny. I was actually clicking in to suggest there may be a better place to sell them than Ebay; it seems that the supply there overwhelms the demand. Any local stores buying?

I don't know, but I think the stores around here cater to Type II players. Did/do you play?

No; I did have some students ask me to look for some very rare (according to them) cards online and was able to find them for $1-2, usually with no bids. Sorry to not have more encouraging news.

At least around here, stores will buy cards, for about the price of the cardboard they're printed on. Like, $1 for 4 rares.

The cards we gave Andrew to list are all ones that tend to go for 10$ or more (in lots for the cheaper ones). The multilands are basically 20$ bills on cardboard and have been for at least four years now.

All in all, it's Good For Us. ;-)
