It's pissing rain right now, which means kayaking is off. However, the change in weather seems to have really made my aching thumb much better. It's still a little bit sore, but not so bad that it's effecting my dexterity any.

I went to a party last night at Nigel's place. It was starmae's going-away shindig, and I got pretty silly after imbibing a few intoxicants. I recommend the very occasional use of drunkenness as medical treatment. It made my thumb very relaxed, and oddly enough, I found it much easier to do dance armwork. They just kept floating their ways up, and felt positively weightless. I may have looked like a dancing lush, but it felt like I was doing very well. Now, my hipwork suffered, to be sure. Staggering doesn't look too purty.

snowy_kathryn wrote down some of the things I said last night, while in a state not even slightly approximating sobriety:

While at the party, I somehow managed to score myself a really pretty new dress from a girl I've never met before. It's a floorlength black dress with trailing sleeves and a huge rose motif down the body of the dress. I also got some cake, and it was pretty yummy. I was a pig and gobbled down the last piece.

Today feels like a lazy day. Although I have to go to work briefly this afternoon, I think I'll spend the remainder of the day at home reading, and perhaps going through my stuff to see what more I can get rid of. I'm thinking of offloading a bunch of my White Wolf gaming books. I want to keep the Vampire books, but I wouldn't be averse to selling the Mage, Werewolf, Changeling, Wraith, and Hunter books. I also have a whole wack of White Wolf magazines I'd like to be rid of. I'd consider doing trades for things I'm more in need of, if you're interested.

The first of the Magic auctions are ending today. If you play the game, here's your opportunity to get some great out-of-print cards at an excellent price. The Shivan Dragons are up to a whopping $1.25 each. That's cheap, man! Cheap!
