I must have fought off the dread bubonic plague which gets spreads around whenever school starts. Despite being rather sore from last night's positively brutal kung fu workout, I managed a brisk 90-minute kayak trip with ease. And when I got home to get changed, I realized I was having a difficult time getting my pants on over my thighs. My muscles must be growing again.

In other news, I think there may be a correlation between chocolate and my intestinal cramps. I know lentils set me off, but I'd much rather live without lentils than without chocolate. Oh, the horror!

Bubonic plague! I guess you remembered
to do as the Night Rat Killers of Mumbai
do, and pick up dead rats with your feet
in order to prevent contraction.

Speaking of contractions, lentils are,
indeed, quite "windy". India is leading
the world not only in contraceptive tech-
niques, but also in creating beans that
don't give people gas. Seriously.

Is there any difference between milk
chocolate and dark chocolate in their
effects on you? Canadian chocolate
makes me skinny, and not even British
Cadbury works like that for me. Back
when I lived in Victoria, BC, I ate
about two Caramilk bars a day. Mmmmm.

I'm not sure about the chocolate, yet. The cramping began shortly after eating half of a milk chocolate Zero bar. I'll have to experiment with other chocolates to see if this was an isolated incident. I sure hope so!

I'll do my best to use my feet when dealing with dead, plague-ridden rats.

Oh, man, the Zero bars (the ones with
the different temperature goo inside)
are something I miss a lot. Last time
I checked, Canadianfavourites.com did
not even carry them, and they've been
impossible to find on my last three
visits to Canada.

Maybe you should pick up chocolate with
your feet, too.

I like Zero bars. Mmmm....

I can pick up all sorts of things with my feet (my recent dream fungus notwithstanding). I have very versatile toes.

Well, we just ordered from canadianfavourites.com
again, and sadly, there were neither Zero bars nor
foot fungi.
