I wrote to The Smoking Gun in regards to Amanda Rudder's status as a possible kidnapping victim, and here's the response I received:

we don't know how to get in touch with them. the arrest was in monroe county and according to the cops she was part of a group of kids who lived on and near the beach because of the warm weather--pretty common down there. also, she listed her occupation as musician.

I guess the best thing that can happen now is that her mother does searches online and finds reference to her missing daughter. Best of luck, indeed.
