I finished all the paperwork at the store today that I can do right now. The rest will have to wait until I receive the last power bill. The store didn't make any money, I'm afraid, despite my being a positive miser. Tourism just plain sucked this year, and it wasn't uncommon for the shop to go three or four days without selling a single thing. How utterly dreary.

Still, as far as summer jobs go, it was awesome. I was paid to create and design jewellery, practice kung fu, sew dance costumes, listen to CBC Radio, and dance. In other words, I was paid to be me. How bitchin' is that?

I just finished my reading for my Religious Studies class. It was Carlos Castaneda's "Instruction in Self-Discovery: An Example" from Religion for a New Generation. I'll be posting my thoughts on this trippy little story later.

Tonight, I'm planning on making lamb chops using this recipe. I've never made lamb chops before, but the recipe looks good and I hope supper is a success. I've been trying to increase my protein intake even more, lately, and so far, it seems to be working well. My usually constant stomach perterbations have ceased, and that's great!
