I'm so glad I added you - you're an absolute goldmine! I'll be keeping an eye on the badvasectomies journal, I wanted bslaveboy to have one but I had no idea that the risks were so high. I always thought that it was supposed to be a simple 15 minute kind of operation.

The only risk I knew about was the tiny chance a vasectomy could spontaneously reverse itself.

And a one-in-50 or so chance of post--operative swelling, which lasts a few days, perhaps as long as a week. The vast majority are 15 minute operations that leave the "client" sore for a couple of days, then happily infertile (after a few weeks: gotta "purge the system" as it were).

So the doctor didn't mention a possibility of chronic dehibilitating pain? I'll betcha that if more guys knew, there'd be fewer vasectomies going around. Also, I'd betcha there'd be more research money going into better procedures and post-op care.
