I just put a buttload of gaming materials as well as some hockey cards up on eBay. If you like White Wolf, Forgotten Realms, or Legend of the Five Rings, check it out. I started the bids at just one buck. The books are all in excellent shape, and would make great Christmas/Kwanzaa/whatever presents, so be a dear and keep me in moolah!

Not quite. Back in the day, when I was a serious Magic tournament player, I stuck out because of my non-boy status. The guys all assumed I'd be a shitty player, because, let's face it, most girls who play these games are doing it as a lark. Their boyfriends showed them how to play, and so they cobble together crap decks and are eliminated right away in tourney play. So the guys didn't pay me any notice until they realized I was totally kicking their asses.

I used my gender to play the meta-game.
