It starts off by saying "The Japanese have never heard of the Geneva Convention".The Japanese never signed the Geneva convention,niether did the U.S. Even had they done so,unless Japan's television is state-run(which I doubt),the convention accords do not apply.A soveriegn state can torture its own citizens without violating the accords.The move to Korea makes things a bit stickier if Koreans wished to press it...but honestly what leverage have they got against Japan?In conclusion,there isn't anything anyone but the Japanese can do tokeep this from reoccurring.

I'd never thought of that before. I thought
there were so many Chinese virtuosos simply

Regarding Nasubi... a weird conclusion. Maybe it's true for most people, but any kind of reality TV like that holds no appeal for me whatsoever. A flawed premise and statement from my perspective.

I am unsurprised at the linguistic prevelance influencing musical ability. Mandarin has about four tones... accents which influence every word which is said. As such, the ability to produce and distinguish those tones contributes a lot. Further, it's common custom in the culture to try a musical instrument at some juncture while growing up.

Yeah, that's not the first image software gaffe I've heard of. People need warning labels on the software they use or something...
