I have good news and bad news: despite what I thought was an excellent interview, I received a PFO letter from Cendant.

Tomorrow, I begin my futility training. I'm attending the how-to-get-a-job classes at the Y. I'll have to play hookie in the afternoon because of a job interview at another call centre. I don't want to work at a call centre. But the money's good, and this one's at least nearby. I hope I do(n't) get the job. Sigh....

I have a panel interview on Thursday. I expect to see the group of them tussling, at the very least.

From what I've heard from Jodie and Andre about my rejection letter they may simply have filled their quota. Why the hell would they not hire you? You have customer service and public relations experience, and you've used your voice on the radio before...

I don't know why they didn't hire me. I'm a bit disturbed that my last resort has turned me down. It's like being told "no thanks" by McDonald's. Blah.
