shanmonster: (Spasmolytic)
I woke up extra tired today, and headachey, too, despite having had plenty of sleep. I ended up taking a nap in the afternoon, but it wasn't sufficient. When I awoke, I was dizzy. I ended up coming home from work halfway through my shift. I still feel like shit. I walked home, and my head felt like the Hindenburg--very light and about to burst into flames. That last part is a lie. I definitely don't feel so hot.

And no, I didn't end up going to the gym again today. I'm having a difficult time with just walking and getting things out of cupboards. I already destroyed a bottle of vitamin C tablets with a klutzy fumble, and I'm not usually a clumsy person.

Tonight was also the night of the assholes, with more rude customers than I've ever had to deal with all at once. Between being yelled at, condescended to, and hung up upon, I was beginning to lose faith in humanity. Still, the average person I deal with is quite friendly and reasonable, so things could be worse.

I'd love to crawl back into bed right now, but if I do, I'll throw my sleep schedule off and be extra fuckered for tomorrow. So I'll stick it out doing mind-numbing things. Maybe I'll go watch another one of my sister's romantic comedies. Lord help us all.

Here, read this link, and thank me later for the healing power of laughter: http://sueandnotu.blogspot.com/2005/02/music-of-night.html

Something similar happened to me while attending an evening of one-act plays. I still don't know what set them off, but during some poor guy's soliloquy, f00 and my friend Skippy started giggling and snorting, all while singing sotto voce rendition of U2's "Lemon."

It was awful, but it made me laugh, too.

Poor actor guy....

I've had worse, but thanks.

Ms Monster needs sympathy?

Yow. The world is in a strange state tonight. Nevertheless, if you need it, you've got it. I do hope you're feeling better soon!

I don't need sympathy. I just need to get rebooted.
