This makes an excellent and tasty breakfast or post-workout snack.

* 1 banana
* 2 or 3 ice cubes
* 2 big dollops of peanut butter (I use unsweetened)
* 1/2 cup milk or soy milk

Toss it all in the blender and blend until smooth. Simple!

I just had one for my brunch. Mmmm....

Why? It just tastes like peanuts, and I don't put sugar on them when I eat them.

Kraft sells unsweetened peanut butter. It's a smooth variety.

Wow, someone else who likes unsweetened peanut butter!

I really need to get a blender.

It's good!

And blenders are handy for making things like this.

I just crunched some numbers at Fitday, and it looks like the smoothie (with about 3 Tbsp Kraft unsweetened peanut butter and 1/2 cup of vanilla soy milk) has 27 grams of fat and 15 grams of protein.

Kraft unsweetened butter contains hydrogenated vegetable oil (to prevent separation), which I'm guessing isn't helping matters any, but I'd be willing to bet all-natural peanut butter would have less fat.

Unfortunately, rolled oats give me vicious heartburn. Do you have suggestions for alternatives?

I use a couple of Weet-Bix.
