I don't want to go to work. I don't, I don't, I don't. But I know that when I get there, it won't be so bad. Lately, the nights seem to have been passing more quickly, and that's a good thing.
I have heard some pretty interesting names during my time on the phones:
* Hughdene
* Earlene
* Mrs. Ho
* Mr. Weiner (pronounced "whiner," who was simultaneously booking a room with me and demanding his money back from another hotel chain for poor service).
* Vince Vincent
Since I started my job, I feel like I'm becoming much less creative and productive. My job is taking away my time from creative pursuits, like costume design, martial arts, dance, jewellery-making, painting, and my other usual pursuits. When I get home, I have time to read for a little while, and then I go to bed. I can go to the gym or work out at home (I just did a dance workout video), but that doesn't really leave me any other time. I'm also way behind on my email. I did manage to do a wee bit of jewellery rendering the other day, and was pleased to realize my skills haven't yet atrophied. That's good to know.
I think I need a sugar daddy.

FLA, then what sort of Canadian are you?!
Of course, I have no idea if these people
actually ever used the welfare programme,
but I do believe that a lot of people in
the States take mundane jobs simply so they
can have health insurance.
I know how you feel, about the mundanity
settling in. I hate that people spend 1/3
of their day trapped in an office, struggling
to make ends meet, when farmers are paid in
the US *not* to produce food.
I think it's like school for kids. It keeps
the masses busy and exhausted.
