I spent the evening reading Sartre and watching Private Benjamin and Soldier. Now that I'm awake, my asthma is so bad I cannot talk lest I break out in a neverending cough attack. My lungs feel the size of a small peach, and my chest has a constant burning ache as though filled with dull red embers. I've taken my puffer, but I don't think it's done a thing. On the up side, my headache has subsided.
I have a much higher pain tolerance than most people, but right now, I am desperately afraid of coughing.
