I finally did it. I caved in to the addiction that is Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. f00dave and I went in on a big order. We'll be getting the following smellies (from BPAL as well as a couple of individual sources):

f00 is completely smitten with Spooky. Kathryn owns a bottle, and he slathered some of the scent all over his beard and moustache the other day. He positively reeked of the stuff. It is his favourite smell in the world. I don't quite understand the attraction (it's not bad, but it's not my thing--too much coconut), but it makes him happy. He keeps wanting to have smell parties, now. It's weird. Well, when the new stuff comes in, we'll be able to have a huge smell party, because snowy_kathryn and zero_design also ordered a bunch of stuff.

I never really got into it... Sure I have a bottle of one kind that I like, and a imps of a few others that I wear from time to time... But I never saw the point of ordering shit-tons of different perfumes. I mean, there are only so many days in a week/month/year; and most days I end up forgetting all about putting perfume on anyway!

That's why I can't see myself doing this anymore than this one time. I ordered one bottle of one I know I like (Salomé) and one for Dave (Spooky). The rest are imps I'm curious about. I have few opportunities to wear perfume, although I used to wear it all the time when I lived in Moncton.

I have gotten addicted to variety, although there are a few that I do use a lot of. And I do things like scent my baths and etc that use more than just wearing it.
