The Advil worked. No migraine for me. Woohoo!
I spent this afternoon getting thoroughly shagged out. After breakfast, I did Tamilee Webb's advanced ab workout from I Want That Body!. I still can't do the video without screaming obscenities. Fuck, it's hard. That's why I want to keep doing it. I want to be able to do the entire workout with ease. That's when I know my abs will be so strong that they could stop bullets.
While I was still sore and throbbing from that workout, I did the isolation drills from Rachel Brice's DVD. I expect a gift certificate from Amazon soon. When it comes in, I'm getting Bellydance for Beginners with Suhaila: Fitness Fusion - 4 Volume Gift Set (Buns, Jazz, Pilates, Yoga). At first, I was thrown off by the beginner part of it, but I've been hearing very good things, particularly about the Pilates video, so I think it would make a good addition to my regimen. Suhaila is very much into isolations and control, and so am I. This looks like a good way to improve.
I'm also interested in Breakdance Step-by-Step and/or Hip Hop Fuzion. Are there any b-boys or b-girls out there who can make me a good recommendation? I'm not particularly interested in spinning on my head. Neither am I looking for a performance video. I'm looking specifically for an instructional/drill DVD which focuses on locks and pops, with maybe a few forays into fluid movements.
And now for a couple of links for your enjoyment:
Japanese A Capella: Most excellent! You'll be sure to recognize these tunes (thanks, Dead Corpse).
Motion Induced Blindness: Yet another nifty optical illusion.
Make Your Own Pope Hat: Why let Ratzinger have all the fun?
Matisyahu: Hasidic, beatboxing, reggae rapper.
Romanian Woman Thief Hid Mobile Phones In Her Vagina: Oddly enough, the owner didn't want it back once it had been retrieved.
Bubba Knows Everyone: And everyone knows him, too (thanks, Dead Corpse).
