While biking up the hill the other day, I saw a squirrel tail poking up from a lawn. There was no squirrel attached, but the tail looked as fluffy and alive as though there were. No other body parts were to be seen. The image of a squirrel tail poking up from the grass like a dandilion is an improbable one, don't you think?

Date: 2005-09-14 04:22 pm (UTC)From:I found a squirrel tail once. Or, to be more precise, my cat the mighty hunter brought it to me as a love offering. I dried it out and attached it to my fedora for a while. It didn't stay bushy. I think I still have it in a game box somewhere, where it can be found and inspire my friends to wonder why it might be needed when playing Stratego...
