While on hold with a customer, I heard the most relaxing music. It was a slow, jazzy cover of "I Remember You" sung by a woman with a lovely, low voice. Do you know who the artist is?

I don't know, but I love that song! I only have the Slim Whitman version.

Are you sure it was Slim Whitman? I thought it was some other country singer from the late 80s.

If I had to guess (and I do), I'd guess Diana Krall, Ella Fitzgerald, or Phyllis Taylor.

Not Ella, but I'll check the other two.

I thought you meant the Skid Row song.

I'm thinking its Diana Krall.

Could be. I'll have to check it out.

Let's keep it Canadian

If you haven't decided that it was Dianna Krall (whom I spent a lovely evening with, not knowing she was famous) -- maybe it was 'I will remember you' - Sarah McLachlan.

It may have been Dianna Krall, but it was definitely not Sarah McLachlan. "I Will Remember You" is a completely different song, and not one I particularly care for.
