Good News; Bad News

Good news: I was offered the job in Kitchener.

Bad news: It was at a significant wage decrease from my current job.

Result: I said no.

Moving would be expensive, so I guess I can be happy to save myself that expense. I was surprised that a city with a higher cost of living would offer a starting salary of more than a dollar less than I am currently making. Whuh?

that sucks arse. Strange too that it would be a drop in wage. Usually you get paid more here...usuallly. Mind you I dont' get paid enough here and i pay Toronto prices...*grumbles*
