Oh Gross

As of Sunday, I finally succumbed to the call centre plague. Shortly after I woke up, I rushed into the bathroom, which was occupied by a make-up applying bellydancer, shouting, "I'm gonna HURL!!!"

I've never seen a dancer move so quickly.

And so I heaved like a cat divesting itself of a massive hairball, and then I stared at my undigested breakfast while contemplating whether or not to heave again. Fortunately, I didn't need to again. Unfortunately, the reason was because the flu decided to evict itself explosively out the other end off and on for the rest of the day. Yeurgh. This is not the best way to comport oneself at a dance workshop.

Now, the plague has settled itself down to a plain ol' garden variety headcold. Here's hoping I can last the day.

Poor Shan...I got home at 4am (!!!) and had to check my email, so then got to work around 10-something. Fortunately, it feels mostly like that cold/flu is gone, beaten down by the garlic, ginger and lemon brew :)
