I forgot to show you the necklace
f00dave made for me: here and here.
I like it.
oceanfiretribal also liked it, so now she has one, too.
I'm thinking of ordering more of the tusks in so I can also start costuming with them. The tusks come from the Ifugao tribe of the Phillipines, where boar tusks have a long, and magical history.
I like the armlet. I wonder if I could make something similar....

Date: 2005-10-26 12:10 pm (UTC)From:I can probably make one of these in about two hours, now. I might as well take requests (from you too, DuHastBees) for the color of the neck strap, the colour of the pendant-braid, the kind of surface on the latter (suede or "skin side"), your comfy neck measurement, and the desired fastening type (snap or velcro). If you go with a snap, let me know if you want nickle or brass.
P.S. To measure your neck, a good way would be to put on your favorite/best fitting choker, then note carefully where the two ends overlap, and measure that. Otherwise, pretend your tape measure is a choker and try that. I'll put the centers of the two snap halves exactly that far part on the strap (or the velcro strips, if you want more adjustability).
Gotta run!
