As a pagan and scion of a very old South Caeolina line(my great great grandfather was Duncan Nathaniel Ingraham,the flag officer in charge of Charleston Bay during the "late unpleasentness")I have watched the growing abuse of civil liberties by the Up country counties for years with growing trepidation.I live near (as the fundamentalists in my state call it)"Sodom an the Ashley/Cooper"...in other words Charleston. I know how the Upstate feels about us-and its reciprocated.If they wish to secede from the union,good luck-we in the low country will pull a West Virginia and form our own state-we have the people for it by constitutional requirements and it will enable us to keep the tax money where it belongs.Southern politics sucks.
