My vacation is from November 28 to December 4, inclusive. The company Christmas party is on December 2. Because I'm such a superstar on the phones, I've been entered three times in a draw for a weeklong trip to any city in Canada with one of our hotels. They pay for my transportation and accomodations. Here's hoping....

Over my vacation, I plan on dancing and creating like mad, getting back to kung fu (which I miss desperately), and looking for a new job in another city--one with dance teachers I can learn from. I'm guessing the major cities are in order. I'm not keen on Toronto, but maybe I should look there.

Come to Victoria. It's quiet and there's a lot going on, but you have to search it out. Fredericton reminded me of Victoria rather.

It's a rather long drive, and I really don't think I could afford the airfare. Otherwise, I would be interested. It is a lovely city.

Actually, I was thinking about where you might go when you win that draw to stay in any city in Canada for a week! You have three times the chance of anyone else, right? And why not get as far away from Fredericton as you could, if the prize includes transportation....

Halifax isn't exotic enough. I already get to go there about once a year. I'd like to go someplace different. I haven't been to BC since the 80s, so that's probably what I'd do.

It's great out here on the West Coast--lots of belly-dancing. Vancouver's a nice place for a visit, and I second Victoria. There is a huge bellydance community on Vancouver Island. :)
