Kung fu was great! I practiced kicking and blocking/grabbing combinations. I knew my forté is kicking, but it was terrific getting compliments on it from the sifu. Now, if I could only get everything else in order, I might be a space marine some day, just like Vasquez from Aliens. I *heart* Vasquez.
I'm sad I'll be missing next week's classes, but the fire training should be well worth it. I promised Sifu Danny that I would demonstrate, if I had any competency at all. Here's hoping!
The mysterious lump on my leg--which I've named Jonathan--has shrunken dramatically. I'm hoping that by this time next week it will be all gone. I can see the veins and tendons in the top of my foot again, too. Hoorah for my natural healing powers!
Now I just need to spend a bit of time packing. I need to make sure I have everything I'll need for the week ahead of me. I mustn't forget my toothbrush or my pyjamas. Eeeee!
