I'm gearing up for my vacation week by upping my exercise quotient. This morning, I started my old ab routine again--the one with Tamilee Webb. I didn't swear at her this time, but I did yell a couple of times. Good God, that's a tough little routine. I was glad when it was over.
Then I ate some breakfast and did some dance drills, focusing specifically on arm work and turns. It's coming. More slowly than I'd like, but it is happening. I just need to get these movements programmed into my brain so they'll happen automatically during performance. That's what's going to take the longest.
Last night,
f00dave and I watched a zomedy called Undead. Sometimes the pacing was a bit off, but there are enough funny parts in here to make it worth watching. It's like early Peter Jackson's take on Dawn of the Dead, complete with ridiculous gore and over-the-top killings with style. It's the first time I've seen a zombie's head exploded with a can of pop and a ballpoint pen. That's got to count for something.
And it has zombie trout.
