I'm sicker today than ever, but my Advil Cold and Flu medicine seems to have ameliorated my sore throat.
I went to the doctor this morning, and she set up an appointment for physiotherapy. This is for an injury which has plagued me since the beginning of the summer. I've lost an enormous amount of flexibility, and there is no medium between comfortable and OMG-my-leg-is-being-torn-off when I stretch. My right inner thigh feels like the tendon is pulled extra tight. I still don't know what I did to my leg; I have no recollection of an injury. But one day in kung fu, while we were doing lateral splits, I realized I could no longer do what I'd always taken for granted.
I miss doing those splits, and I was just about three inches shy of touching the floor before the evil leg pain fairy struck. Now, I'm more like 18" off the floor. Bah. I'm hoping the physio will fix me up.
In the meantime, here I sit at work. So far, my voice is holding out, although I couldn't speak when I got up this morning. Go team Advil! Ra ra blah.
---------
Edit: Bah. Now my chest feels almost like there's a big warm rock on it. Stupid asthma.
