I dreamed I was in a classroom. I could see a geeky, middle-aged man. He was balding, and wearing a lab coat and round-framed eyeglasses. He was desperately setting up small, transparent vases on each of the desks. Into each vase he poured red water. A thick red particulate settled at the bottom of each vase. I knew this fluid was essence of rose, although it looked rather like dried blood mixed with water. After each vase was filled,

He stared at me and squawked, "Drink! Drink!" He sat at one of the desks, and using the rose stem as a straw, drank the water as quickly as possible. His eyes bulged with the effort. I sat at one of the desks and, carefully avoiding the thorns, began slurping back the liquid through a rose stem. It was foul. Yes, it was essence of roses, but without any sort of sweetness whatsoever. The particulate was especially nidorous, and made me gag.

"Keep drinking," ordered the scientist.

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see mist coalescing into vampires. Drinking this fluid was a ruse to trick the vampires into thinking we were drinking blood. I suspected the vampires would not be fooled, but I kept drinking in case it actually would work.

The flavour was too ghastly, and I began to retch. So did the scientist. He vomited all over my lap, much to my disgust. And then I started puking, too. I spewed gushes of red barf all over myself, and back into the vase, but I dare not stop drinking.

One of the vampires came up to me. She was dressed in black leather, and she looked at me, shaking her head. Gratefully, I stopped drinking the vile liquid, and went to a sink at the corner of the room to wash myself off.

The scientist kept drinking, and the vampire looked at him, smirking in a sinister fashion. She brandished a leather flail. The next thing I know, I'm beating the scientist's bare ass as hard as I possibly can, pausing now and then so that the vampire can whip him.

Then I woke up and marvelled at the cheesiness of this S&M vampire dream. Good grief!

Sounds like an amusing vampire flick. Sure you weren't watching any Elvira before hitting the bed?

The last movie I saw was 28 Days Later..., which isn't much in the way of flagellants and vampire dominatrices.
