The walk last night was filled with diamonds scintillating in the air, on the ground, and all over my coat. As I walked down the hill, the diamonds gathered together into huge puffs of cottony snow. It was almost like I'd walked through the wardrobe, but minus the faun.
While I waited for the bus this morning, I spent a few minutes worshipping a sweet-faced tabby tom. Well, I was just scritching him, but as far as he was concerned, it was worship. When the bus showed up, he wandered off in search of new acolytes, and I got a ride to my physio appointment.
Since I've started physio, my longterm leg problem seems to have been relenting, but in its place, I've been suffering from a dull but strong pain along my hip and the top of my glute. I spoke with the therapist, and yes, it likely is a result of the physio, because my other muscles are working overtime to take the brunt of the work off the inner thigh. So now she's working on that spot, too.
I hope the cascade effect doesn't continue elsewhere. I've only got the one body.
Much to my bemusement, I was turned into a human pin cushion today. I've never had acupuncture before, and was surprised at the lack of pain. Some of those needles were going a good two inches into muscle, with nary a twinge. I did feel a teensy prick with the one she jabbed into my outer thigh, but not for the ones in my groin or glute.
It doesn't seem to have worked. My hip/butt still aches.
And now I'm STARVED! So hungry. Come on, break. I need to eat....
