I had (turqoise) ruffled underwear when I square danced, but they just... weren't quite the same. Didn't tend to wear 'em with thigh-high stockings, either.

I remember reading about the Eiffel Tower jump (and others who used the Tower in such a manner) when I lived in Paris. As a sidenote, I'm almost certain that was the event where an autopsy later revealed he died of a heart attack on the way down rather than the impact.
