Several years ago, I was looking through an old paperback book with recipes for making wine, cordial, and beer. I came across the most repulsive beverage recipe I've ever seen, before, or since: Cock Wine.
From my recollection, it called for a couple of chickens, buried until they'd rotted.
Have you ever heard of this recipe, or one like it? Although I don't want to make it, or drink it, I'd love to see the actual recipe again.
Anyone? Bueller?
In other news, my almost daily BodyFlow classes have been working wonders. My inner thigh injury, the one I'd been getting weekly physiotherapy for until April, appears to be completely healed. I did a few big stretches at kung fu practice, the sort of stretches which always twigged the injury, and didn't even feel as much as a miniature twinge. Hallelujah!
And I also discovered that I can now easily do an Iron Bridge. Although I could do them before, they required a lot of effort, and a lot of trembling. While modelling for artists yesterday, I held a bridge for 80 seconds without collapsing. I think it's from all the back work I've been doing in BodyFlow.
Regular serious practice at that class works wonders.
On Sunday,
gha5t started teaching me the Tiger Monkey form. I have a long way to go. I wonder if anyone in Kitchener-Waterloo knows it?
