Here are the kung fu forms I (theoretically) know:
Hung Kuen
- Fook Fu (Taming the Tiger)
- Gung Ji ("Work")
- Fu Hou (Tiger Monkey)
Tong Long (Praying Mantis)
- 8 Elbows
- Sup Bat Sou (Eighteen Ancestors)
Wing Chun
- Sil Nim Tao (Little Ideas)
Bing Hey (Weapons)
- Staff
- Broadsword
I've also done Tiger Snake, Dragon, and a Tibetan form whose name I've forgotten, but they're no longer on the kwoon's curriculum and are pretty much gone from my memory.
And then there's all the Goju-Ryu karate-do kata which have pretty much completely fled my brain:
- Gekisai Dai Ichi (To destroy introduction number 1)
- Gekisai Dai Ni (To destroy introduction number 2)
- Saifa (To destroy by pounding/pulverising)
- Seiyunchin (Grasping, pulling, unbalancing)
- Shisochin (To destroy in 4 directions)
- Sanseru (36 hands or movements)
- Sepai (18 hands or movements)
- Kururunfa (Holding on long and striking suddenly)
- Sesan (13 hands or movements)
- Sanchin (3 battles)
- Tensho (Rotating palms)
And then there's the Wu-style t'ai chi chu'an:
- 108 Moves
And of course I know basic drills and techniques, and have a modicum of sparring skills, on top of all this.
There's a Krav Maga school close to my home in Kitchener. Do you know anything about it? I'm thinking of giving it a shot.
