As Promised

I've applied for work at numerous call centres. I've finished my dance belt and top. snowy_kathryn and I got a good start on developing a choreography to "Café Europa" by Deep Forest.

And as promised, here are some snapshots of the costume.

: Don't mind the dorky face. I had no time to get all dolled up.

: I need to tie prettier knots.

: This colour is more true than the preceding ones. The gold is all very shiny. Don't mind the wrinkles. I want to steam 'em out.

: This is pretty much entirely handsewn (the exception being the metallic band, and I had to piece that together and sew it by hand before using the machine to put it on the top). I used a string bikini top as inspiration, and went from there. It fits perfectly.

Now I just have to make the pants, but they're not crucial. I have plenty of things I can wear with this as is. Hell, my black skirt looks fine with it.

Now I think I'll watch a movie and collapse into sleep. It's been a very long day, and tomorrow will be longer.
