Yesterday was a gruelling marathon of a day, started by eight hours of coffee-slinging, and followed up with another three or four hours of modelling with Kim Taylor.

Kim's photo shoots are strange. Sara (the other model) and I are responsible for choosing most of our own costuming/makeup/props, the lighting colours/gobos, and sometimes the foreground options. Once that's all figured out, Kim gives plenty of directions.

Here are the results from last night (NSFW):

[Blue Shan group]Blue wig, blue electrical tape, and blue mask I made from a plastic binder divider.

[Surreality]I'm wearing a vintage gas mask, and am painting Sara with purple paint out of a wine glass. She's wearing a bunny mask. Weirdness.

[Surreality]And the painting continues. Sara is very ticklish, so this was pretty funny.

[Surreality]More gas mask vs. bunny tickle painting.

[Surreality]Now I'm all taped up with nowhere to go.

[Surreality]Taking this off was a real bitch. Some places are more bandage-pully-offy than others.

[Surreality]More tape, while very precariously perched on a pedestal.

[Surreality]Off with the tape. Ouchies.

Those are very innnnteresting shots. The pedestal one s really cool. Did you fall? :o

Also I wonder how many fetishists you are exciting at this very moment :V

Nope! I didn't fall, although I did flail my arms out spastically once so that I wouldn't fall. I guess he didn't catch that particular action shot.

Fetishists? Who knows. I'm still laughing over finding the picture of myself on the sneeze fetish website that time....

What kind of direction did you get? How much input did the photographer really have? I mean, speaing as a model, I know I feel more comfortable if the artist has an idea of what they want. That would probably exasperate me a great deal, unless I was being paid REALLY well.

More direction this time than the last time, once I was actually in front of the lens. The direction was often very strange, though. For instance, it went something like this once: "Think post-9/11. Post-apocalyptic. The age of AIDS! You can't touch one another without the fabric. Scrub her like a loofah!" Weird.

As for coming up with the look? No direction at all other than he wanted us to use masks. And then he gave us bags of stuff to work with.

I don't think he knows exactly what he wants. He just has a vague, vague idea.

The one where you're crouching on the pedestal? Pretty...and wow. You're agile. I couldn't do that, methinks.

Thanks! It was actually trickier than it looks, because the top of the box has two hand-hold slits, so I had to perch my feet just so over top of them without having my toes vanish inside.

I like the bunny pics. Like Alice in Wonderland on even more LSD than normal

You have a good body
