Wooo gothy costume! I have a green-and-black (with bits of bone and shell) gothy tribal costume living in my head; maybe will get it done this winter. Have all the stuff, just so many other things to sew...*sigh*
I've started disassembling an old pair of PVC pants, and I think I'm going to leave the top part of the pants, pockets and all, as the belt. Now I'm rethinking the silver metal bits. I think that mixing the PVC up with natural elements, like shell and bone, would be more interesting than the clichéed silver metal.
I'll play around with it and see what happens....
Green and black, hmm? Sounds scrummy! I don't have very many green things (aside from a really cool purple and green costume I made a while back. I must post some pictures of it), but would like to make more. I'm starting to really like green, and I always disliked it before.
