Oh yes, before I forget....
As I went walking tonight, I saw a cardboard box on the sidewalk. I noticed an orange cat lying in it as I passed, but something seemed odd. The cat didn't move at all. "Kitty?" I said.
Nothing.
I nudged the box with my foot.
Nothing.
The cat was quite dead.
Who puts a dead cat in an open box by the street? Wouldn't they at least wrap it in plastic or something? Unless it climbed in there and died, which I doubt....

You always have such unusual animal sightings

But I was very sad the time I saw a roadkill bear cub.
